CONFIRMATION PREPARATION:
The Sacrament of Confirmation is available to youth that in their junior year of high school.Completion of at least two years of religious formation prior to their junior year either through a Catholic school or through the PSR program are required. Contact: Ryan Foulon, 275-3940

FIRST RECONCILIATION AND FIRST EUCHARIST PREPARATION:
Assists parents who are seeking fuller initiation for their children into the communal life of the Church.The preparation for these sacraments takes place in the regular religious education class of STMSchool and the STM Elementary Parish School of Religion once children have begun the second grade. MARRIAGE PREPARATION FACILITATOR:
Marriage preparation team meets privately with engaged couples for two sessions to conduct the pre-marital inventory.The results are given to the priest who will witness the couple's wedding, helping him prepare the couple for reception of the Sacrament of Matrimony.Married couples taking part in this ministry should be willing to share their experiences with the engaged. BAPTISM AND BAPTISM HOME VISITOR:
Upon learning of a potential baptismal candidate, a home visitor calls on the family to provide information about the sacrament and answer any questions.Baptismal seminars are conducted at 7 p.m. on the first Tuesday of each month. Contact Melissa Godso, 275-3940
PARISH SCHOOL OF RELIGION:
Provides continuing religious education for the children of our parish grades K-12, primarily for those attending public or private non-Catholic schools. Catechist, helpers and substitute catechist are needed. Contact Sarah Neau, 275-3940 PreK-6th Registration-Fall 2010

YOUNG ADULT MINISTRY:
Designed for women and men out of high school and into their twenties, married and single. It seeks to put adults in contact with each other while offering alternatives to what is experienced in our culture. Contact: Ryan Foulon, 275-3940
YOUTH MINISTRY:
Junior High Youth Ministry
Provides opportunities for 7th-8th graders to grow socially and spiritually. Sponsors social, service and spiritual gatherings, lock-ins, fun trips, and attends large events such as the Diocesan Junior High Youth Rally, World Youth Day and Abbey Youth Fest.
High School Youth Ministry
Open to all 9th-12th graders to grow socially and spiritually. Summer Softball, Mexico Mission Trip, Summer Fun Trip, Winter Ski Trip, World Youth Day, Diocesan Youth Conference, Abbey Youth Fest, National Catholic Youth Conference, and the Catholic Leadership Institute are just a few of the events each year. Youth ministry also sponsors monthly social, service, and spiritual gatherings.

PARISH MISSION:
Assists in organizing and implementing the annual parish mission including publicity, welcoming, fellowship and various activities within the several evening mission. Contact: Marybelle Hardin, 275-3940
RCIA – ADULT:
A process to provide Catholic information and formation to potential members who are searching for a faith home.Adults seeking possible membership in the Church and any parishioner who wishes to serve as a support team member are welcome. RCIA meets each Tuesday, 6:30 - 8 p.m. (September to April), as well as Sundays from 9:30 a.m. until 11 a.m. (Advent to Easter).
RCIA – CHILDREN:
Adapted for children, a process to provide Catholic information and formation to potential members who are searching for a faith home. Adult volunteers are needed to prepare children of catechetical age (3rd grade and over), for the Sacraments of Christian Initiation. Those willing to perform these services should volunteer on the stewardship card.

VOCATIONS COMMITTEE:
Works closely with other parish ministries to promote a better understanding and openness to the priesthood and religious life. Acts as an advocate to support those in our parish and diocese in the process of discerning their vocation, those in active formation, and especially those priest and religious that daily, in faith, respond to God's call to live a radical life in Christ. ADULT FAITH FORMATION TEAM:
In conjunction with the Evangelization Team and Small Christian Community works to bring adult faith formation events to the parish. Events include seminars, lectures, classes and socials that will offer an opportunity for members of the parish to learn more about their faith. Contact: Marybelle Hardin, 275-3940
SMALL CHRISTIAN COMMUNITIES:
Groups composed of 7 to 15 people who gather together to reflect on the meaning of Scripture in their everyday lives. Groups may meet for a specific number of weeks or on an ongoing basis. Small Christian Communities seek to create a sense of belonging, mutual care and fellowship, while at the same time deepening the faith of those involved and enhancing individual and group prayer. BOY AND GIRL SCOUTS:
Parish chartered and supported, Boy Scout and Girl Scout programs build strong moral backgrounds and provide skills that will help young people function successfully in the "adult world."

STM PRESCHOOL:
Founded in 1982 to satisfy the need for the parish's young children, it provides an environment that encourages spiritual, social, emotional, physical, and intellectual growth and development of each individual child. STM SCHOOL:
Committed to continuing a legacy of excellence in religious and academic education in a nurturing environment that fosters self-discipline for grades K-8.An extended care program is available. Contact: Judy Armstrong, 275-2820
SUNDAY NURSERY:
Provides babysitting for children of parishioners attending 10 a.m. Sunday Mass. Volunteers work one Sunday a month or substitute as needed. Junior helpers in 6th grade and above are invited to assist. Contact: Sarah Kleinpeter
SUNDAY SCHOOL:
Children ages 3 to 7 years take part in a nurturing atmosphere that promotes and strengthens commitment to learning and living our Christian faith. Meets each week of the school year during 10 a.m. Mass. Adults interested in working with children are invited to volunteer as teachers and co-teachers. VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL:
A week long summer faith based program for children age 4 thru 6th grade. Religious instruction, music, crafts, games and snacks are provided by adult and teen volunteers. Contact: Sarah Neau, 275-3940.
EVANGELIZATION TEAM:
Working in conjunction with existing ministries, helps people in the pew become more aware of their own faith life as received in Baptism and brought to fruition in Confirmation and the Eucharist. Accomplished through offering on site retreats for the parish, sharing faith stories with others, and encouraging the various ministries to embrace a ministry of worship, discipleship, service and welcome in all their activities.
