FESTIVAL WORKER:
The annual parish festival is held the first weekend in May each year and has been a tradition for over 25 years.  Come join the fun, food, and fellowship while mingling with your fellow parishioners.  Volunteer your time and talent by working in a game or food booth, or by assisting with set up and cleanup.  See you under the big tent!  Contact:  David Broussard

FIRST FRIDAY FELLOWSHIP:
Parishioners meet on the first Friday of each month following the 6 a.m. and the 8:45 a.m. Masses to promote community and fellowship.  Biscuits, coffee, and juice are provided.

FELLOWSHIP SUNDAY:
Sponsored by various ministries and prescheduled by the Welcome Committee, Fellowship Sunday takes place the second Sunday of each month after the 10 a.m. Mass.  The ministry unites parishioners in a social setting, while enjoying refreshments arranged by the sponsoring ministry.  Contact:  Melissa Godso, 275-3940

HOLY NAME SOCIETY:
Church's oldest men's society.  Its primary objective is the honor and glory of God and the personal sanctification of its members by acts of love and devotion to the Holy Name of Jesus.  Contact:  Joe Macaluso

KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS:
St. Thomas More Council 5530 of the Knights of Columbus is open to all men of the parish who share its values of charity, unity, fraternity, and patriotism.  The Knights sponsor numerous parish and diocesan programs to benefit youth, seminarians and the needy.  Its work supports pro-life and other Catholic causes worldwide.  Contact:  Ken Perret

MEN'S ULTREYA:
Open to men who have made or are interested in making a Cursillo.  The movement is intended to create small groups that will evangelize their environments with the Gospel.  Contact Ovide LaHaye

STM WOMEN'S MINISTRY:
The Women's Ministry is a group of mothers whose mission is to form a network of mothers and families of STM by providing spiritual, social and service opportunities.  They provide family activities to promote a sense of fellowship in the parish, and provide service and aid to those in need throughout our parish and the Baton Rouge community.  The group also sponsors the Angel Tree Project which allows parishioners to give in a smaller and anonymous way during the Christmas season.  CLICK HERE for the latest newsletter.  Contact:  Gia Mashon, 802-6879

SENIOR MINISTRY:
Senior Ministry seeks to strengthen a feeling of community among all parishioners 55 years of age and older.  Planned activities for the year are announced in an annual newsletter and through a regular column in the Tower.  Volunteers are needed to help plan and carry out social, service and spiritual activites throughout the year.  Contact:  Betty Stevenson

SINGLE SENIORS MINISTRY:
Composed of men and women who have lost their spouse through death, divorce or separation, the ministry provides spiritual, emotional and mental support through a variety of spiritual and social activities.  Their mission is to help any member with meals, doctor appointments, hospital/home stay or errands.  Contact:  Hillie Brown

STM MEN'S CLUB:
A social/service organization chartered for adult male members.  It is committed to enriching the lives of its members by providing them the opportunity to fully experience the STM tradition of faith and fellowship.  As a member of this organization, you will have the opportunity to meet fellow parishioners, make new friends, socialize with old friends and provide valuable services to our parish and school.  The Men's Club will occasionally tackle projects around the church and school while remaining committed to celebrating all of its accomplishments.

WELCOME MINISTRY:
The vision of this ministry is simple:  Newcomers are to feel invited, included and important.  A bridge is formed welcoming the newcomer to experience their church family to the fullest.  During personal visits either in the home of the new parishioner or at the parish office, the welcome minister presents a packet of information including a family census form, ministry and adminstrative contacts, as well as upcoming events.  Contact:  Melissa Godso, 275-3940
