Altar Server Sign-up

Calling all altar server recruits:  We are inviting all boys and girls, who are currently in or have completed the 5th grade, and one of their parents to a meeting to explain the duties and responsibilities involved in committing to the altar serving training program on Monday, Mar. 13, at 6:30 pm in the activity center. If you are have any questions, please email or call Jacques Pourciau, Director of Liturgy at jacques@stmchurch.org or at 275-3940.  If you are interested in learning more, please download the registration form and bring it with you to the information meeting on Mar. 13.

Pastoral Planning Task Force Presentation

Some time ago Bishop Muench commissioned a Pastoral Planning Task Force to address our current (and future) shortfall of priests to staff and meet all the pastoral needs of all the Church parishes of our diocese. The Task Force has completed a report for presentation. The presentation to the South Central Deanery will be hosted at Our Lady of Mercy Parish on Monday, Feb. 20. Arrival is suggested between 6 – 6:30 p.m., and the report will be delivered at 7 p.m., expected to conclude at 8 p.m. 

Divine Mercy Novena

The Divine Mercy Novena continues Thursday, Feb. 23, with the 6 pm Mass followed by the sung Chaplet and Benediction of the Most Blessed Sacrament.  The Mass and chaplet will be held on Thursdays, Feb. 23, Mar. 2, 9, 16, 23, 30, Apr. 6, and 20 in preparation for the Feast of Divine Mercy on Apr. 23.
